Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
Movers were very friendly and hard working no doubt. I would hire them again, but would watch closely during the loading as much efficiency was lost when it came to anything that wasn’t a box or of uniform shape. Not as much thought was put into planning the loading with large bulky items. Quite a few things were thrown around at the end and more things ended up damaged than I was hoping for. Overall great people, just not as much attention to detail.
Movers communicated well, but throughout the loading process rooms were missed and they weren't able to load the entire truck. At the end of their time being up, my 300 gallon fish tank was dropped and had to be thrown away. I'm waiting to hear back from my open dispute on this matter. Was submitted last week but haven't received an update. After they left we realized there were 2 moves full of boxes that hadn't been touched, both were down stairs. We ended up hiring 2 more movers the next day to assist us with the job.
